Time to go cold (Christmas) turkey...

Yes, it's late (I know!) but today, I took down our Christmas tree and trimmings.

Having spent most of the festive period working on college projects I felt that me and the tree hadn't spent much time together this year and so, an extra week of twinkly lights and baubles would keep me in good spirits (or at least keep the SAD at bay!) for the start of the New Year.

But yesterday when I said to the hubby, 'hmmm, maybe we could keep the tree up all year...' I knew enough was enough.

And so, some sense of normality has now resumed in the Bottomley household, as has the college work. Well, it's either this or continue to eat my own weight in chocolate and change my degree to a BA in Wii Sports Resort... K x
